报告题目:Conformally variational Riemannian invariants and their related topics

报告摘要:It is well known that scalar curvature plays a fundamental role in general relativity. As its analogue, conformally variational Riemannian invariants (CVIs) is a category of fundamental scalar-type curvatures which shares many excellent properties in both conformal and Riemannian geometry. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction about our working frame about CVIs and present some interesting results about the geometric and analytic theory about CVIs. Hopefully, these theories can be helpful in the development of general relativity and other fields of mathematical physics. This talk is based on a series of work joint with Jeffrey S. Case from Penn State University and Yueh-Ju Lin from Wichita State University.

报告人简介:
袁伟,中山大学副教授、博士生导师。2008年本科毕业于南开大学,2010年硕士毕业于中国科技大学,2015年博士毕业于美国加州大学圣克鲁斯分校(UC Santa Cruz);曾在法国巴黎第六大学/庞加莱数学研究所(IHP)、奥地利维也纳大学/薛定谔研究所(ESI)及韩国高等研究院(KIAS)等地进行学术访问。主要研究方向是几何分析与广义相对论,在真空静态时空的分类、数量曲率、Q-曲率及共形变分黎曼不变量等多个问题上做出了系列重要工作;主持国家自然科学基金青年项目、面上项目;在Adv Math., Math Ann., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., Calc. Var. PDE等国际权威的数学期刊上发表文章十余篇。
